Netcon, the first NetWare compatible multithreaded/multiprocessor networkfor Solaris UNIX systems.With the addition of the Netcon 5.1 software, Solaris systems becomeNetWare compatible clients, and file, print and terminal servers. Netconincludes a complete set of utilities for DOS/Windows to share files andprinters on the UNIX system software.Netcon provides peer to peer UNIX networking as well as completeclient/server UNIX to DOS and DOS/Windows to UNIX networking at 2 to 8times the speed of NFS with no need for TCP/IP. This is accomplished witha precise high performance NetWare protocol emulation on standard UNIXand DOS systems. The protocol emulation is so exact, that UNIX systemsappear to function as NetWare servers to DOS/Windows clients. NetWareservers and other UNIX systems appear as UNIX directories to UNIX users.Netcon carries the Novell "Yes it runs with NetWare" certification.
